Raul Jula is one of the more active riders and thanks to that he has strong spot in our crew. Besides his own projects he never hesitates to take part in other events, and there were many of those this year. The last one was the LURKED BMX JAM, which took place at the end of September in the capital of Romania, Bucharest. That for sure deserves support from our side!
It's quite some time since went for a trip with the crew to visit Raul. We had the opportunity to spend few days in Bucharest, we managed to organize a street jam and looked a bit more into the local BMX community. It's clearly visible how much progress in riding they managed to do during the years and how the community changed. Park have also seen few changes since our last visit, which is great indicator that the Bucharest BMX community is alive and well.
And now few words about the event from Raul:
"LURKED Bucharest Jam was definitely a big win for bmx community in Romania.
The vibe was awesome and chill. This jam format sectioned on different spots gived the freedom to the riders to feel like it was just a normal session in the park like it supposed to be but definitely the hype and level of riding was higher than a normal day. I feel like Romanian bmx level has increased significantly and one thing is for sure, they need more projects like this so they can learn and land more tricks when they’re together hypeing each other and the most important thing is to have fun, that definitely happened when a big group of riders are having a session together.
