How to: Handlebars

There are two basic types of handlebars, 2-pc and 4-pc (2 piece, 4 piece). Most quality handlebars are made of butted and heat treated 4130 chromoly. When choosing handlebars don't forget to consider your body height, because the taller you are the bigger handlebars you will need. Handlebars width is measured as a line between both bar ends (no curves).

Handlebars geometry:
Rise (height): min 8,25" for riders up to 165cm, min. 8,5" for riders up to 180cm, 8,75" and more for riders over 180cm
Width: 28"(71cm) and more. If you feel like your handlebars are too wide, you can cut off a piece at each bar end to achieve the desired width.
Upsweep: 1° and more.
Backsweep: 11° and more.

How do you measure the rise of your handlebars?
Using a ruler or tape measure, measure from the center of the stem clamping area to the center of the brake lever/grip area.

Other features:
- heat treated bars - ideal for real street riding
- multi butted tubing - weight savings
