The registration was going on from 8:30 in the morning and everyone who have signed in was given a welcome bag full of presents and the voucher for free food and drinks. Shout out to the whole catering team for their fine cuisine and friendly approach. By the time riders were leaving the registration table, our team photograph EM ET (Milan Tykal) was right there ready to take a pictures that i believe have made a lot of mothers happy. All of those photos are available for download HERE. Due to the couple of injuries and other problems, the final line up was made of 77 riders of which 11 were youngsters (younger than 12 years), 34 masters (12-16 years) and 32 killers (16+).
Practice ended around 11 o'clock and the qualification was about to begin. Ludis Toth tuned up some of his gangsta beats, Pepa Horacek with Calwi Lasnovsky holded microphones and the team of judges was consisted of Tomas Tydlacka, Radek Rydl and Vita Kacha. Started from the bottom (now we here..) with the youngest shredders where I have to mention this 3 year old kid crusin around the place like a boss. I wonder about the things I did when in his age, but it was not riding a skatepark! As the day continued, age of competing riders was gradually rising up as well as the level of their riding skills. Well I mean, riders are getting more dialed year after year but this time some of the youngsters were pure savaged and could have easily competed againts the guys from both Master and Killer group, all right. All of the highlights are available to watch either in Tomas Carda's official video or WDGF Times montage that features a lot of great b-roll clips from the whole weekend, either way you gotta love it.
