Winter out here in Czech Republic doesn’t really pray for outdoor activities if you aren’t an eskimo. So most of us take this time to get some rest, get ready for the upcoming season or travel abroad to escape the winter for a bit. After one busy yet successful year that 2018 was for Jiri, his name made it to the list of invited riders for Simple Session 2019! So when he stopped by in the shop in early January, it was the right time to build the new bike before taking plane to Estonia. Proud of you brother!

Y’all already know, Jiri’s repping Shadow & Subrosa so that’s what his bike is build out of. He’s riding parts froms these brands for a while now so it wasn’t big struggle for him to choose what he want his bike to be like at the moment. And so what’s new on his current whip?

Last time he rode Simone’s signature Noster S frame but wanted to switch back to the OM. In addition to the OM frame comes the new OM fork with shorter 22mm offset making the bike even more responsive. Everyone’s switching to short cranks nowadays and so as Jiri does with the 165mm Shadow Killer crankset. According to his words he was excited to make the switch as he never rode short cranks before. You may know Jiri’s a big fan of frontload stems so he’s happy to now be riding the prototype VVS stem from The Shadow Conspiracy. As a last thing he has risen his bars for once with the 9.5” rise of Subrosa Ray Bars. All completed with Jiri’s favorite Shadow & Subrosa parts. Here we go…
